David is the Founder and Managing Partner of West Capital Advisors, Inc. which specializes in helping pre-retirees, professionals and business owners develop comprehensive solutions to decisions regarding their wealth. He has over 30 years of experience in assisting clients to not lose money to unnecessary income taxes, inefficient financial structures, and uncompensated risk investments. 

He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations in 2002. David is recognized as an outstanding teacher and public speaker, having presented numerous economic education seminars to professional groups across the country. He has been published by Fortune Magazine. He earned a B.S. in Business and History at Montana State University at Billings and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

In 1997, he began his participation in the clinical trials of the Doctors Economic Research Project. In this capacity, he provided capital accumulation and capital distribution planning services, insurance products, and investment advisory services to doctors and business owners/executives who were members of associations participating in the Doctors Economic Research Project. Once again, he distinguished himself with his commitment, competence and dedication to assisting clients in the achievement of their economic objectives of personal freedom and personal significance. Within three years, David became one of the most productive members of a group of financial consultants who established industry records for sales of insurance products and placement of assets under management.

David and his wife, Katheryn, are the proud parents of nine children. He and Katheryn reside in Orem, Utah. His hobbies include history, hiking, weight lifting, running and travel.
